Bear It In Mind prides itself on its extensive selection of collectable teddy bears of all shapes and sizes with prices to suit all pockets.
There are bears from Deans, Steiff, Gund, Minty Hen, The Puppet Company, Hermann, Charlie Bears and more sitting alongside one-of-a-kind and limited edition artist creations. We also carry miniatures including some from the Deb Canham range.
The delightful baby-safe and child-friendly selection from Baby Gund offers suitable gifts for events such as new arrivals, Christenings and birthdays.

Bear It In Mind is pushchair friendly, none of our bears bite and we have one teddy in particular who loves a hug from all his little visitors. Teddy bears can sometimes be a bit naughty. They have parties and move to different places in the shop in a cheeky attempt to confuse Julie. She struggles to keep up with them and gets a little weary of clearing up the biscuit crumbs, honey and clumps of fur from the floor each morning. Come and visit us - you won't be disappointed!

We had a fabulous response to our competition and the final choice was not an easy one. Amanda and I made the decision together, Bartie was present thoughout. He looked so happy to have a name at last. Congratulations to our winners and a huge thank you to all those people who sent in suggestions. An award presentation and naming ceremony took place in the studio on Sunday 15th April and Bartie welcomed a number of people to the event including some of the in-store artists, friends and family as well as three of our winners. He has also had the honour of welcoming Lord Montagu to the premises on a recent visit.
Bartie Bristle will now reside in the shop with his two prototypes. He will begin his official duties straight away and these will include photo shoots for a series of postcards and making guest appearances at local events. (watch this space for news of his adventures!)
Bear It In Mind will be offering Bartie Bristle as an open edition shop exclusive which will run until the end of the year.
