Timetable of Events
10.30am Doors Open
11.00 Judging of the Bartie Bristle Excellence Award entries will take place in the Village Hall. Our judges this year will be the Hon Ralph Montagu and his wife Ailsa, our winner from last year Anita Weller and teddy bear historian and writer Kathy Martin. Also - A demonstration of needle felting techniques with Danni Hubbard from Barrell Bears will take place in the studio at Bear It In Mind.
12.00 Workshop – join Andy West from Westie Bears as he leads a Teddy Head Scarf Hugger session in the studio at Bear It In Mind. Places are limited so please book this at the shop. The cost is £5.00 with all proceeds going to Honeypot. (This will run for approx 1 hour) Also - Julie Tatchell will be available at the Bartie Ventures stand in the school hall to sign copies of her book, 'The Beginning'.
1.00 Amanda Middleditch will be available in the studio at Bear It In Mind for a drop in bear clinic. Pop by with your patient for professional advice. (This will run for approx 1 hour)
2.30 Our very own dancing bear will be encouraging you to join her for 'bearobics' at various locations in the village throughout the afternoon. Also - Annual Bartie Convention Photo taking place at John James Photographic Studio on the High Street. (Please note that photos will be available to purchase on the day)
3.00 Annual Facebook Fan Club Photo taking place in the Plushie's Play Place opposite Bear It In Mind. (on the stage in the Village Hall if wet.)
3.45 Raffle Closes. (Village Hall)
4.00 Announcements and prize giving. (Village Hall)
4.30 Doors Close
5.30 Last bus to the Motor Museum.
NB. Throughout the day, visit the Honeypot Family Field for more family fun, Magic Martin and the Card Shark also starring 'Elvis' the magic bear in the Village Hall and vintage valuations and identification in the School Hall. Hope you have a wonderful day!
